Going "Prime"time

Well... Having another adventure on this trip. Went to pick up my load with the stepdeck I had. Got loaded, 44866... Got four states to go through where I had to close the axles, no way I could scale 44### with tandems. Told dispatch this, was told to weigh it. Aight... closest place is 86 miles. Drive there, sure enough, 39### on the trailer. Drive 86 miles back and wait til the AM for someone to show up to rework it. Finally got the load transfered to a 48' so I could scale legally. Lost a day doing all this, so not sure if I can drop on Monday or not, well see.

 

It was night dispatch. Will be speaking to my FM tomorrow

 

Well, 5th solo hival load dropped and scanned. Didnt think Id make it tody, but made good time in the 1300+ miles it took to get here. Dropped early in the afternoon. Gotta wait til the AM for another load when I get hours back at midnight.

 

Ya. I didnt break my truck Ill get a load, hopefully a good one, n roll with what I got.
