"Sitting around" is something that will kill you eventually. All of you guys need to get a physical fitness plan into gear before you turn into one of those 400 pound lard buckets... whether you're running flatbed, reefer or tanker.

Start with staying away from the sugar/carb crap they sell in every truckstop, the buffet and all of that re-order eat all you can stuff. Then get the heck out of the truck and exercise!

    venne and DenaliDad Thank this.

My wrist is in great shape. :biggrin_255:

But in all honesty. Park away from the door. Take a walk before you go to bed. Even a jog if you aren't me.

I'm considering getting a dog when I solo not only for companionship but for forced exercise.

Open road....Thank you for all the info on the time you have put in so far.
It really helps guys like me who are reading many of these from all the different companies to make a desicion on who to go with.

It will keep dumb questions down to a min. from me when I go through it.
    Thanks for the posting.

And the story about the lady in the road...been there years ago in a car.
Tough to see but just reminds us how we all need to respect what we drive, and stay aware.

Well Im on hometime now :D Once I go back out on Monday/Tuesday, which ever day my trainer returns, Ill have 3 weeks left to go. Got over 40,000 miles in so far. Still sticking with the plan to upgrade in late September. After that it is onto flatbed training, then my own truck finally.

Aight, quick update.... I'm close to 50,000 miles now, supposed to be back in SPRINGMO tommorow so I can start my upgrade Wednesday. Been Realy running lately. Had the experience of picking up in downtown Boston, thankfully it was a Saturday morning at 0500 lol Pulled out n drove through NYC over the GWB in mid afternoon traffic, hate that city, then down through jersey.... happy to be out of the NE, finally, as is my trainer lol
