He got rear-ended by a speeding vehicle. He didn't get a citation. Most likely a NON-preventable, but it will still show. ORD, glad you are ok. Hope the fallout is minimal.
-
Glad you're OK ORD. So... no ticket issued to you. Probably will go down as a DOT-reportable since the car was totalled. Make sure you get a copy of the accident report, you'll need to submit it in a Data-Q to clear it off of your CSA record.
Everett Thanks this. -
Thanks y'all. It'll take around 30 days to get the report
I'll definitely do what I need to do so this doesn't come back to bite me. -
let us know if you can get it off your CSA,
never have seen that done , YET. -
We'll see. Officer told me I was not at fault and it would not affect me negatively affect me.

Well I finally got one of the new 53#### trailers Dog tracks horribly, but love the RightWeigh gauge and raisable front axle. I had to calibrate the RightWeigh gauge, but it works good now. Well see what I get next. Last week I saw a SWIFT truck that appears to be a HAZMAT spill in a Pilot parking lot. Saw 2 different wrecks today, got stuck in 3 cities (Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio). I think Austin is worse than Chicago, least has been for me.

Those right weigh scales are nice to have, do you have a suspension gauge in your tractor?
What is your light weigh with that 53' trailer?
is there a switch in the cab to raise your front axle?
