Well, my new app is approved, my trainer only needs to set me a leave date for October... I'm so excited to get started and maybe meet some of you all out there.

Ya my buddy will be on the truck soon as I get my own truck.
The simulator test for the Ace-1 upgrade is easy, atleast the one I did. Your the only person on the road. Its just meneuvering the truck n trailer through a few obsticles, then doing a straightline back, then an offset to the left.... Thats it. You get as many get out n looks as you want (I.E Go look at their computer screen to see where the trailer is) but you only get 20 minutes. Its a pass/fail test. Its really not a hard test to do.
Ill be back some time in October to get my own truck, so I might see you here. We shall see if any trucks are available then. Right now they are 30 days behind on condo sleepers. Many people are waiting for trucks right

That doesn't surprise me. After the downturn, the truck manufacturing sector went into a freefall, and the manufactureres cut their workforce and closed plants. This year, EVERYONE is ordering trucks, so there aren't a lot to go around for any of the carriers.

Its a major crunch getting new vehicles. Still seeing Prime Centurys on the road... I expected they would all be gone by now.

Some of the new 587s are in, but are bein checked out by the shop due to a 5th wheel issue. Ive only got one more class to go, n thats the Smith System. After that its back on the road time with the flatbed guy.
