Here is a pic of the pipe load I did. Was actually pretty easy to secure. Also a pic of the container. That one was kind of a pain, but o well. Still love it. Nothing better than flatbedding. Never felt the pride I do when I pull into a reciever with the load I secured when I was on the reefer side. It was hard work securing the container, n Im still sore (and exhausted) but well worth it. Had another Prime driver say I did a good job n Ill make a great flatbedder. I finally found something Im good at. People can mess with me all they want, n I know they will, but Ill stick with flatbedding.

Also if your trainer hasn't told you. If you even think there is something wrong with a shipment and there is no one around take pictures. A lot of them. Even during loading if you think it might get damaged during transit. I had a flatbed load put into my dryvan. I could see it was going to move a damage some of the other freight. I got my camera and took pics. I also let dispatch know. Sure enough at the reciver there was damage. This was for show. They were pisssssed. I got my digital camera out and showed them the pic's and told them I told the shipper and my dispatcher there was going to be damage. End of argument after they checked with my dispatcher.:biggrin_25513:

Truly, two things of beauty. It's nice to hear a man find his fit. Well done. Just make sure you post pics of the most difficult loads you have, not just those that are tiring. While I've watched the skateboards go by outside my office on I-196, I see all kinds of mixed loads and wonder how it will be tieing them down when the weather gets nasty soon. Keep us in the loop! And enjoy your hometime. You've certainly earned it.
