    No problem, it's not the best offer in the world but it's about the best I was offered out of the several companies I applied to.

    If Hes not bs'ing about 1800 a wk thats good money in the oilfield right now. If it really starts to boom again wages will too

    I was quoted 1800-2200 a week average so I guess we'll see.

    I've been seeing company driver pay from 1600 to 3000 a week and owner operator pay from 6 to 12 gross per week. 6 to 10 on sand box, 8 to 12 on pneumatic tank. I'm gonna go do the boxes since I'm not really impressed with 10% extra pay on a 40 to 60k investment for blower and wagon. Lots of companies hiring so still trying to narrow it down to an outfit

    Wow that is terrible not worth oil field lifestyle for those kinds of numbers.
    I mean can you do 5 or 6 50 mile loads with sandbox?
    That looks like about 40% cut from good pneumatic rates

    Prices have dropped a lot in the last 3 years here. Too many drivers. A good day is 3 or 4 at 30-60 miles. Dispatch could do better. 8-10 use to be possible on short runs.
