Hello Aiken. I live just across the river in Evans, GA.
I have a dedicated run and pick up in Aiken every Wednesday morning.
I wish I had noticed you on here earlier.

Enjoy your new career with KLLM, I drive for an other company and was broke down in Jackson MS. I got to talk to several KLLM drivers, they all seem very happy with working there

    Aiken Thanks this.

Averitt Express. Our Augusta terminal actually has a Grovetown address.
We are back behind the Pilot truck stop on Bel Air road, exit 194.

I was wondering how far I would have to go from home and to home. Atlanta and Charlotte are 3 hours away, Augusta or Columbia will be just perfect.

It wouldn't hurt to check with Averitt from time to time after you get some experience.
I think they have eased up on their experience requirement, but not positive.
I am on dedicated run. Pick up in Aiken on Wednesday and back home late Saturday night. Home every Sun, Mon and Tues.
But even when I was in Truckload, I NEVER missed a weekend, and in my fourth year here. They keep that promise and the benefits are great.
But it sounds like you have a plan for the time being. I wish you well.

    Aiken Thanks this.

Met my trainer. He is nice, has over 10 years of experience.
As of now we are sitting, waiting for the load. It is Sat, so we may not even leave before tomorrow.
