Going to Boyd Brothers

Thanx smoke. Glad to see ur doin good. Figured ud b dun with training by now. Lol. Also u can mention to dum dum there that boyd is an asset based company. They completely own every bit of their equipment. Trks, trailers, etc, etc. Everything. By the way, when do u test out?

 

All the good things that im hearing about Boyd, I really can't wait for my orientation on the 21st now. Hope all goes well, and keep the positive experiences with this company comin!!

 

Does Boyd have cdl training?

 

DIZ I think u gonna enjoy it here. Glad to have u aboard. And squeegee, no we do not have cdl training, but boyd does do reimbursement for tuition.

 

2.5 weeks of drivers training left then securement for a week. I'm in the truck now

 

Im suprised more people aren't gettin on with Boyd, looks like a win win situation!

 

Well for the simple fact that 1 out of 10 makes it, sounds like a waste of time for people that are looking for work to go and then get turned down for a job.

 

10% chance youll get a job after you recieve a invitation to orientation doesnt sound right. Mabey 50% percent I could see that though. Really dont care of percentage, im gettin the job I know that!!

 

That sound's like a reasonable percentage.

wasp, not accurate numbers man. My last orientation class started 17 n only 5 went home early. N one of those was due to his hearin n is able to come back once he gets it fixed. It more like 60-70% or more. More people quit after gettin in trk than anything. Boyd is a demanding company, n they have the rite to b. Boyd won best fleet to drive for last year. They have a 98% customer satisfaction. They tell u how to do it their way, which isn't hard, n of u can't they say goodbye. That's y I train, to teach these new guys how to perfect boyds way n keep their job. U do it theory way n they take care of u. I mean, I was home for year n a half n came back. Gotta b something here worth me comin back.
