My fiance works for boyd. Overall he is pretty satisfied. But here is what I can tell you from what he has said and general things. He was in Cincinnati for his orientation which was a week. Then he did four weeks over the road with two trainers. He only had two trainers because unlike some companies, they have you alternate weekends home with whoever is training. But the load they were on for his weekend had to be delivered monday morning, and brought them right through our area so they went ahead allowed him to choose if he would go on with that trainer, or come home and finish his time with someone else. He opted to come home. After his four weeks with the trainers they did a week in Birmingham and then got assigned their trucks. Now to mention his one major gripe. The trucks are governed at 61mph. He hates that since you can't go the speed limit on the highways. But his home time has been really good. Thus far he's only been "stuck out" once which was this past weekend. If you have any other questions, just post them and I can have him get on here and answer on this account when he is home next time. I'm sure that he would be happy to give feedback
He likes to talk about stuff like this.

Sorry u had to wait so long. Training for students is a total if six weeks. First week in bham or Cincinnati for orientation. Four weeks on the trk. N final week in Birmingham for test out n Securement training. All of which is easy.

Hey, how has orientation changed? Phyliss told me it was still five days tho. I know Boyd started doing an agility test after I was hired the first time. Does David? still do the class? I'll let ya know what my new truck is. I used to drive 7083 from 10-2007 to 02-2010
