I'm going stir crazy myself. I'm planning to go home the 20th for "The Great New York State Fair", so I'm staying out 5 weeks. I don't like it, lol. Don't know how guys do it for months on a regular basis, that's no life to live...

 

getting antsy waiting for orientation in Lenoir City, TN on sept. 2nd....Gonna be interesting to say the least. Ill be out 6 days doing southeast regional. Im sure itll be hard being away from the family. At the same time, I gotta do whats best for them. At least I wont be out for weeks....I gotta hand it to you guys...hard workers all of ya....

 

does regional home weekly....pay by the mile..or the day

Hey Brandson, noticed your comment about going to the NY State Fair. I live in CNY not far from there. Wondering if you call home nearby and if so, how is Crete home time living in this area?

 

haven't been here that long, but they've done well the first 2 times, lol.
I imagine most people that have trouble getting home usually just don't stand up for themselves. If you have a dispacther that won't get you home when you need to on a regular basis, you need to let him know you're not gonna stand for it, and/or get a new dispatcher. I've heard guys whine about never getting home that u work with, when I get home every time I ask, a day late at worst. That's unavoidable in general.

 

I'm seeing more and more that this company does a handful of things to make them look good from the outside, but they are the tightest penny pinchers that I've worked for so far, and they seem to monitor everything. I thought this might be a career company for a while, but it seems like they're just another stepping stone, or until I break... I see the latter not taking all too long.
