Awesome! My name is Jeremy btw. I'll be driving so if you need to carpool or anything just let me know. See ya there.
Any of you guys use the Rand McNally TND 710 GPS? I'm trying to figure out which one to get. I know they had some issues with freezing up in the beginning but I think they got that worked out.
Truck Approved GPS Units for Roehl 1. Tele Type WorldNav 7200 Truck Routing GPS 2. Garmin NUVI465T Truck GPS 3. Goodyear GY500X Truck GPS 4. PC Miler Truck GPS 5. Rand McNally Intelliroute TND Series all others violate company policy
Rand McNally is by far the best one out there the new E logs will have the built in gps directions turned on soon
I never had a student bring the Rand McNally in my truck. I liked the Garmin it is very user friendly, even a trucker can figure it out. The only thing I didn't like it about is there isn't a knob on the side to quickly turn the volume up or down. On my old Garmin I only turned the voice on when I got close to the customer. On the 465t you have to go into the menu and punch a bunch of buttons. I thought the World Nav 7200 was absolute junk. It took forever to recalculate if you did not go the way it wanted.
I need you to back me up Joe Trying to talk the wife into letting me get the Rand McNally 710. So what you meant to say was it is a necessity to get the one with the 7" screen. The truck won't even start without it right? lol
I'm also explaining to her that I need the Cobra 29LTDBT CB RADIO W Bluetooth so I can talk to her on my bluetooth enabled phone safely.
