Going to Maine for the first time.

Not to mention all the tolls on 95 thru Del, NJ, and NY for 5 axles.

 

Avoid I-81 & I-95 crowded & slow

 

Cypress is taking you to Maine? Pretty awesome, when I worked there on the end dump fleet I remember them looking for volunteers to run over Christmas to New York and other locations because of the plentiful freight for them that time of year.

 

There isn't much. The "truck stops" are just convenience stores with some truck parking

 

There’s some hills. Nothing that I would call a mountain on 81. As far as being heavy, I’d wager that @Razororange is over twice as heavy as you are.

 

There’s not a single PFJ or TA/Petro in the entire state. Personally I think that’s an advantage. It was like going back in time a bit when I went up there. Dysart’s was good to me.

I’d never plan on an 11 hour day of driving, I found out my first month on the road that any little glitch and you’re scrambling to find a parking spot, with no time left on your clock.
