Hey Dragon. Any word yet on your mentor? I called today and got the same, we'll call you as soon as we get one for you. All I know is that if I don't hear anything by Wednesday, I may start looking elsewhere, I will be out of school 30 days on Nov.10th, and I've heard some outfits consider 30 days or more out of school to disqualify you from working for them.
I called also and was told there were 16 before me but should have one this week. They said there were mentors coming in from training and a mentor class on Friday. Ive already starting looking, cant wait much longer. You got do what you have too, cant wait forever, I dont blame you.
I called again today, mainly to find out if I needed to send in my logs per the 13 day rule. They said not to do that, and it could be handled when I come in to meet my mentor. I asked if they had a guess when it might happen, and was told possibly by the end of this week or beginning of next. Apparently its an issue more with getting a non smoking mentor as much as anything else lol. You hear anything new?
Nope, nothing yet. I tried calling but not getting through. At this point I don't really care if they are smoker or non smoker. I was wondering about the logs also. Well I guess we wait.
What will You both be driven? Flat bed, dry van or reefer. I should be there after the 17th for Orientation and flat bed tarpping/chaining then off with mentor...

Good luck to you also. They had tickets waiting to go home, didn't give a choice to stay around. Guess they didnt want to pay for the rooms. Not sure the wait on flatbed mentors, hope you don't have to wait to long.
