Ok well here goes. I am a student as of now with two weeks left until I test out. I have been speaking with Lindsey and things have been going smoothly so far. I heard from Werner and Eagle and I didn't feel as if I would fit with either of those company's. I would like some inside info about Roehl and see what the general feel is for them. Although if your going to blast them or any company please don't reply. I want honest good and bad point of views. Ok first question is does Roehl posses the ezpasses for toll booths. Especially for the northeast. Do they also posses the fastpass for weigh stations. Any other help would be great. I will be going to orientation in Phoenix or Gary in two to three weeks.

You need to check out the top 4 or 5 threads on here, look for Lantern and Drty Diesel they both run flats for Roehl and have told others alot and myself about the company, It may take a while to scan through but it's WELL worth the effory.

Yeah, I just finished school on 8/31/12 in Orlando, Fl. and like you, I had a ton of questions. It's a huge task to figure out which carrier to go with. In my opinion Roehl is a great company. They were taking more time to get me to orientation than I could afford, kinda more my problems than their's, I think if you do your homework on there you'll have all the info you need to make a sound choice.

We have both ezpass and prepass for weigh stations and toll roads. There are still some tolls you'll have to pay and be reimbursed for. Like the Mackinac Bridge on I-75 in Michigan. And the toll road in Oklahoma. I'm sure there's a few more but I haven't been on them.

Great info on that, thank you all very much. Another question is how much trip planning do we have to do? And do we use e-logs?

you should be trip planning everytime you get a load or preplan. you should do one every morning to make sure you,re on schedule. learn to use your map first before you use a gps.

Awesome, thank you. I am not that great at trip planning, any hints or ideas to make it easier? Also do we still get a basic trip plan on the qualcom?

it tells you city to city with pick up date and time and delivery date and time, then you get the load assignment with all the info and fuel and routing instructions
