I drive a reefer and never drove flatbed but I can tell you that you might sit at prime a while waiting for a flatbed trainer they don't have a lot of them I think because there isn't a big need for team flatbedders so most guys don't mess with it they will try to get you to go reefer but if you want flatbed stick to your guns and wait it out

It doesn't matter which division you run your TnT miles in. That's mostly to get you used to driving a large combination vehicle in a commercial environment. If you start in reefer... the fastest way to get a trainer, you'll do 30 days of securement training or a securement boot camp in flatbed division.

I think you should check your sources because it does matter I've personally know of 1 student who went reefer shortly after upgrading to A seat he transfers to flatbed and had to do another 30000 TNT

When I was there they told me all I had to do was attend the flatbed securement class after I got my miles. Granted that was in 2008 but I doubt it's changed.

Not whining, just correcting you as usual. I don't even drive for prime anymore. I was smart enough to get a job with a small company, where I'm home every other night and on weekends, for about the same pay, plus free healthcare. I get paid off the odometer, not Rand McNally miles. BTW, you do have to watch your statement every week with prime, or you will get shorted.

You're whining buddy... glad you aren't here any longer because its folks like you who can do nothing but complain. I've never been "shorted" in well over 7 years. Granted, the very occasional mistake has been made, and corrected when pointed out.

That is BS, all they are required to do is securement training

Usually on your side iron but I have heard this as well. I have heard even after driving for prime a year that if I wanted to switch division I would have to go and do 30000 miles with a TNT trainer. Just what I heard
