I haven't been to all the Swift terminals yet, but I've been to Columbus enough to be able to compare it to the terminals I have been to and, overall, it ranks #1 with me. I also like Edwardsville and Jonestown (PA).

I'm there for Swift Academy so it all depends on what info you want. I'll be back Sunday for 3 more days of school starting Monday morning. The holidays really have the 3rd week screwed up 3 days this week, 3 days next week. My CDL Exam is scheduled for 7:30a Wednesday. Then back home and orientation on the following Monday which would put me a week behind you.

What do you think about SWIFT's Columbus, OH terminal? I would like to get into the flatbed division and their terminals are in Gary, Greer and....and...Phoenix? I am assuming I would probably be through the Columbus terminal during home time.

Flat bedders are out of the Gary Terminal for this area according to my instructor one of my classmates asked that question the other day.

Boooooo..........But wouldn't I be able to park my flatbed tractor-trailer at the Columbus, OH terminal on my hometime? If not, I guess I will have to look for parking spots in my home town area.

i've never been to the edwardsville terminal. I like the jonestown terminal the best but the parking is so limited there, wish they would do something about it one day.

I think this is correct, some might have missed the already has his cdl part.

No worries Dick, flatbedders don't park with the van drivers anyway.

I'll just have to ask the terminal manager "how many Dicks does he see in here.":biggrin_25522:
BTW, didn't you just start mentoring?

What are Swifts requirements? I have heard some say 5 yrs on a misdemeanor, 10 yrs. Do they look a drug charge like a DUI? Meaning 10 yrs?
