I have a hard time believing that that's all there was to it, but OK. Ive never worked for JCT so I really cant comment. If what you say is true, then maybe we shoulda went to work for JCT. But hell, Im sure just as many people have griped about them as well as England.

Well, so far, we havent seen anything about this whole "scam" thing. As long as we make money, I could care less. We may have to drive harder for it, but I look at it as much needed experience behind the wheel.

BTW, I have seen all the details and even then, it really doesnt seem to be exactly true.

Interestingly enough...Not really a lot of negative posts around about JCT...Even the OOIDA says that they have the best lease in the industry.

If I was going to lease a truck...The only company I would consider leasing a truck from is JCT, I have read their lease agreement and would have no problem signing it if that's the direction that I was gonna go!

On this site there is a huge thread about JCT and how happy most of their L/O's are....Compared to the dozens of negative threads about CRE containing thousands of posts. and the fact that the OOIDA has assisted many former CRE fleece victims and regularly warns people to use caution when dealing with CRE.

You're living the scam right now...And it's obviously working 'cause you think all is well...Maybe you'll be the exception and do OK in the long run, Who knows?

    What?

Well, that may be the case but regardless of who you talk to, no company is perfect.

I may be outta line by saying this, but isnt the only reason OOIDA went after England so much was because of the varible mileage? Even then, I really dont think even OOIDA is exactly perfect either. Yeah, they may have some good points, but all in all, its a two-way street for the drivers and the companies.
Well, maybe we will consider them if things go sour.

So, what exactly has OOIDA assisted the "victims" of the lease program that England has?

OK, If I were TRULY living the scam right now, dont you think I would be among the "England Sucks" crowd??? Plus, if I thought it was that bad, I woulda turned this truck in a loooooooooong time ago.

Well, I cant tell the future, so I really cant answer that. No one can. But you need to loosen the term, "you'll be the exception" a little bit because I'm hardly the only one being the "exception".
Sorry for my poor choice of words, but I was saying, I have seen the details on this forum from this thread and the other one I got wrapped up in and I still have a hard time believing that most of the negativity 100% accurate. You dont know how true each and every negative claim towards england is true.

Well, I have some friends who went to C.R. England right out of school. I have to say they all hated it. The advice given above about not joining the lease program is the best anyone has given you yet. If you are already committed just stick it out for a year and then move on to greener pastures. Look at it as an investment in your future. I screwed up my trucking career by not following this simple advice. And hey it cant be all bad, you still get to drive a big truck and cruise the open road. Hell I might go work for them just to get back in the industry. maybe Ill see you there!

Not really trying to further this conversation any further than it already has, but my curiosity is having the best of me........

What exactly is it that your friends had happen to them that made things go sour?
