I don’t yell. It isn’t my thing, I’m paid by the hour so I’ll just pull the brake and sit there for an hour for all I care. I got all day.
Usually I just keep backing until they panic though.

Not the most professional I guess but whatever. It’s like herding cats out here, bigger vehicle has the right of way.

Hell, from what I have been hearing, you just mash the pedal on the right and let off the pedal on the left at the same time and the truck will drive itself. lol
You must have one of them old school trucks that have the obsolete third pedal. lol
Seriously, it depends a lot on several factors, how steep the hill is, how heavy the load is, what engine and tranny combo you have, and what gears you have, there is no one answer.
Some of the places I drive, you try to shift out of low at a low rpm and even think of shifting slow, you will be rolling backwards, RIGHT now, you either use the jake and shift right now or stay in that gear to the top, which is not usually a realistic option.
That said, it is just something you have to learn, as every situation is different. -
Just get an automatic. Press gas pedal and there she goes
