You know what I mean..
Well; I got a load coming out of Gary IN terminal going to Green Bay WI that had a 1:30 pm apt and was due for delivery @ 6pm. You know that was a late delivery, which was out of my control, because no one can make it from Gary IN going thru Chicago traffic Milwaukee traffic into Green Bay. The directions on Quallcom isnt that great which got me all out of wack with a 70' long vehicle. Was sweating bullets but got things under control. In my second delivery it was dark and storming by then and I was able to see why people tear down light poles because you cant even see the trailer too well. If you can get the truck as far into the intersection as possible it will be no problem.. So after me getting wet and blind side backing a trailer into a difficult position in the rain I was done with my hectic day. Frustrated but glad I made it trough without tearing up anything I got much needed rest by 10pm.
Got a dispatch for Memphis TN from WI due Mon @ 1pm so I got up and grabbed the load with ease and made it to the Gary terminal by 2pm yesterday 9/22. So I have been home for like 24+ hrs resting in my own bed. Will head out by 3pm, make it to Memphis by 11pm, take my reset, and make the apt with ease. Like I said before I even left for WI, you gotta take the good with bad.
