Going with SWIFT...

    Why would they ding my DAC if I got offered a local job and want to take it?

    I haven't received a bus ticket or any time yet as long as I give the guy notice I would hope it wouldn't matter.

    I got offered the job for Lowe's so I am waiting on hearing from the HR Manager. I have the second drug test in the morning and I have to drop off the paperwork and wait. Now if I don't hear anything by July 12th which is the day before my recruiter is to call me from Swift I am gonna start packing my bags for orientation.

    I'm just still trying to figure out what workinman1962 was saying that they would mark my DAC over taking another job over them....

    I think that new passport card that allows you into Canada or Mexico would be fine I would assume...but I don't know the definite answer hopefully someone who knows will chime in.

    Well today is the day:biggrin_2559:! Lowe's is going to hire me finally! After applying to 4 stores one of them 3 times, My hiring date is ironically the 13th of July which is when the Swift recruiter is supposed to call me. I have to let Swift know I wont be coming BUT I am gonna keep that bridge open just in case my road test or something goes wrong since I only get one day that I know of with a "driver" or "trainer" at another store...

    But anyways, I guess it just goes to show you never give up, show the employer you want the job :biggrin_2553: which I feel I did.

    Glad you stuck around and read my journey (Bi-Polar job search) lol!

    The U.S. Passport Card can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry and is more convenient and less expensive than a passport book. The passport card cannot be used for international travel by air.
