I'm sorry but your hair rubbed some board and they disqualified you?

Yep. Blood pressure test was fine. Heart rate was fine. Vision was fine. Lifted the 70 lb box 3 times and put it on the shelves. Then carried the 70 lb box 53 ft and put it on a shelf. Did that 3 times in a row. Re-checked heart rate, good again. So then came the last thing for the physical test. Squat and walk under a 44in board that simulates the height under a trailer. You squat down and have to duck walk under the board, turn around squatted, and walk out. It is about 6 steps. You are not allowed to touch any part. My first attempt I crouched, walked under, turned around, and came out. They said to do it again but to lower my head better. So I crouched again, turned my head sideways as far as I could. Duck walked in, turned, duck walked out and could feel my hair touch the top. The man there said that I had to go home and practice the duck walk and come back when I can do it properly. Then the lady walked me to an office where they told me to call my recruiter to reschedule. By the way, you are only allowed two attempts on any of the physical tests that you have to do. I am sure I would have done it correctly with another attempt or two. I am 6'2 with a size 15 foot. I would put a knee down looking under a trailer regardless. So I called recruiter and she said I can't test again until 30 days passes. Well, I just got my CDL last Wednesday so I can't just sit around. Their loss I guess. Crete just has you go on one knee for 60 seconds and you can use an arm to balance y o yourself when getting up. So I hope this explains it. I didn't think complaining to anyone at USX would have changed anything. It's their rules and I failed so that's that.TruckDuo Thanks this.

WOW! I don't have my CDL but that just seems anal to me. Glad you have another place to go.
Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
I appreciate it. In this business, there is always a place to go. Good luck getting your CDL.
