Going with Werner

Same story here lazy lightning I have been done with werner for about two weeks my FM told me the same thing I hope I never have to take him up on the offer. All in all not a terrible experience with werner sat some but not much. Driving for a small company hauling plastic pellets a good place with about 20 trucks and the yard is about 30min from home not two hours. I will say I learned quite a bit from werner some good and some bad. But I guess some is just the reality of trucking.

 

Don't believe Werner's "promise" to rehire you...I left on good terms and when I moved to Ga I lived about 45 minutes from ATL where they have a terminal...my leaving had been under a year (9-10 months) and they wanted me to go back through orientation just to get a line run...and when i did they said they had no positions available for line runs and I would have to go OTR again...which i found was a LIE...most all the big companies who do re-hires, have you go back through the orientation so they can collect that GOVERNMENT money...
