That's a respectable perspective, as far as I'm concerned. Kudos to you for doing things on your own terms. Nothing but the best of luck to 'ya. Nothing I hate worse than being forced into something, even when I know it's the decision I'd have made on my own, anyway. Just something about being told "you have to" that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think that attitude is why many choose to go o/o. I think it's really cool that you took pictures of your first load! We all have pictures of our first trucks, etc., but I really think the first load pic is a cool idea. Wish I'd have done that in addition to the cheesy photo my wife took of me standing in front of my tractor grinning with the corners of my mouth touching each other on the back of my head!
Update: Mon. 24, i finished my del. to consignee today thus completing my first 2 weeks. my best mpg to date is 7.o6 and worst is 6.3............ my travel agent thus far, has had a return trip thus getting me thru the house on the weekend and a reset.
this week is most likely going to be a bust, youngest is graduating wed. and i have a family reunion this Saturday to attend if i can find a load going their.
