First 6 months owning a used truck = find out everything that's been neglected or that is simply worn out and fix it.....second 6 months = find out everything that is gonna wear out and change it BEFORE it craps out.....

I has all service records and all the paperwork in the brand new Detroit 60 14L.. the truck is pretty much mechanically reliable, except that darn seal causing me all kinds of issues. In those 600 miles the seal gave out and apparently i lost a lot of oil and when i got to my terminal and went to back my trailer into its spot. The pinion input let loose and there i sat after a nice crunch followed by a dang noise... thats when i noticed all the oil dripping off my truck... i was very upset because it was fine when i pre tripped,,, my money for new tires went to buying parts for my Boyfriend to rebuild my front drive axle...in which he pulled an all day all night long job to get me up and rolling again,, so i can make income...

I lost my front hub seals three times after taking off the speed limiter.
