Good advice

    I really need some good advice right now.I don't have the money go to school ,and I don't want to take company training either.I'd like to get a job in trucking cause it's the only stable industry right now.There alot of
    warehouse round me ,and all looking for drivers right now.Does anybody
    have any good ideas ,cause i'm total clueless right now!!!!! Any help would
    great.thanks

    try the WIA grant from your local unemployment office it pays for you to go to cdl school. besides that "Company Training" might be your best option most companies require you to have so many training hours anyway. Just have to suck it up and sign a contract and drive for a year or two, depending on the company its well worth it!

    Well; Go to your states Employment Development Office and They should help out with schooling as that is how i'm getting my schooling paid off is through the California's EDD Office, But There are many who went through a company training and turned out great!.

    One week you'll be running your tail off trying to keep up with all of the work available, and the next you'll be sitting around with nothing to do. It is HARDLY stable, and the work can be anything BUT steady. As the economy picks up, so does freight...and as the economy dies down, so does freight.
