I have great luck with the Odyssey batteries. They last along time and work great but are not cheap. I have 2 trucks that I put these in the same year and they are just about to hit the 6 years mark and they always test great. I have a Cat 928G with these also and those are 8 years old. This last winter we had -20 and even colder and never had a problem with loader starting even after sitting for 2-3 weeks. I am always about a good deal and with batteries a good deal is one that works and stays working for awhile. They really are great.

I buy the walmart battery's. They have 3 year free replacement, then they pro rate them after that. They dont ever give me any trouble about returning them for new ones. The other brands are fine, I just hate the way napa throws a fit when they need to be replaced for free. The reason the battery's die sooner with inverters is your cycling them more than just 2-3 starts a day. They only have just so many cycles in them. The optima battery's are better just more money in the beginning.

I've had good luck with cat 825cca batteries. With four batteries you dont need 1000ccas. I've started my truck at -30 just fine with the lower cca batteries. With higher cca you have thinner plates and shorter life.

I agree Odyseey batteries, very expensive and very good.
