My first post and ive been following this all week. Sorry for your loss Celadon its a very sad tragedy im sorry you have to go through that. And another sad tragedy is the kind of people behind the wheel out there that would do such a thing and keep going. After hearing more of the information that it was known he hit her, from the potential witnesses/cameras im sure the driver will be caught any day now. It kind of eases some confusion i had too on how the incedent took place with the little known info at first. Glad to hear they did indeed catch the truck on camera and are pursuing this. Theres no way this driver can get away with this and i hope he is caught real soon. It sends chills down my spine knowing that theres many out there behind the wheel with the same kind of deformed mindset that would pull such a thing. I left my previous company in December but stopped/fueled at that Love's regularly. Its shocking knowing it happened there, when ive seen alot worse truckstops with more blind spots and dangerous drivers. I always considered that Love's as somewhat safe, but always had a funny feeling about the way its set up. Leaving the fuel islands you got that dark crowded tight corner, and then you got the straightaway or speedway to get to the exit. Always had a bad feling about it in the back of my mind. Im glad theres hope for justice though and i really hope the driver is caught. And hopefully other potentially dangerous drivers of this nature take note of this and change thier driving habits drasticly whether its on the road or in a truck stop. This really just shouldnt of happened or took place whatsoever.

I think almost every driver on this planet has a negative thought when they see a speed bump. And even a worse thought when they don't see one but feel one. But it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that speed bumps DO SAVE LIVES!

I don't know whether it's connected or not, but Sunday morning, the State Police were combing the truck stops in Moriarty. They were definitely looking for someone specific. Had part of the lot locked down and a cruiser going up and down the aisles. The one cop slowed down to see who I was when I was putting AJ back in the truck.

Such a sad story. My thoughts and prayers go out to her mother and the Celadon family. I agree xlsdraw. Speed bumps are a pita, but they do save lives. Time for these truckstops to consider them.

It is clear that we have too many rocket jockies that haul balls in the truck stop, #### near been hit my self, I have seen drivers grabbing gears and not thinking its a parking lot not an on ramp. Deepest regrets for the driver and all who knew her....
