I liked Willie's Place, too. It is now a Petro. The restaurant is nice, but it isn't the same place. The bar is closed but there is usually ample parking. I don't think they still sell biodiesel. It is still not a bad place to park for a little while and have a decent meal. I think they still have some of the same people working at the truck stop.
Good bye old friend

I found a small convenient store/TS that will fix you a home-made style hamburger. I mean you order it then they fix it, you decide what you want on it. They have one that's a double hamburger or cheesburger, it's called Big Ed. The place is called Tripco, located on US-400 & K-99, Severy, Ks. Hey you know it's good, because the farmers, and retired guys will be there every morning waiting for it to open at 5am. They have a few tables set up so you can eat there, or sit and drink coffee and talk..
Everett Thanks this.
