Galaxy hamburger stand in Cerritos CA. Carminita and Alondra right on the corner. Big portions for that big appetite. Pancakes the size of a dinner plate. Not just burgers but breakfast, Mexican food, sandwiches, dinners, and specials. The food is very tasty.

There is an Am-Best in Cusseta, Alabama I-85 ex 70 I beleive, right before you get to or come from La Grange Ga. It is home to the origional "Country Pride" Resturaunt. The fried chicken is out of this world. The cook there really cares about the food. I think Grandma just might be doin the cookin back there. Enjoy

I gave up eatin' at the tstops. I look for chinese joints I can get to (Even dropping trailers at the tstop to bobtail back). Get to one at lunch time and you can fill up for five or six bucks. If I want american food I will find a Golden corral or Ryan's or something.

Tommy's across from the flying J in Barstow isn't too bad. There is a big dirt lot next to it I used to park in, instead of in the flying J lot.

That's what I'm talking about, I always used to drop anywhere in New England and run like that. There doesn't seem to be a good place to eat anywhere in New England without leaving the stops.

Flying J on top of the Grapevine in Southern California has TERRIBLE food!
The last time I ate there I ordered a French dip sandwich and the beef was GREEN! Yes GREEN! I immediately sent it back and had a PBJ in my truck. The buffet is bad too, food basically sits there all day and hardens in the pan, then they take it away go mix up some fresh stuff into the same pan and bring it back....avoid it if you can.

so, im lookin around here, and i see nothing as for as good places to pull in with a t/t and get some good food along our ways, and i dont mean mcds or subway, im talking places next door to t.s or a short walk away from the truck stops, places that dont put ads up on the dont advertise on the cb ( which i might add is annoying btw )

    i guess ill start.
if your into bbq and your in Ga, on 75, exit 326, go past the pilot to the traffic light, turn right, the first driveway on the left, a place on the back end of the lot, Miller Brothers B-B-Q, you can drop ur trl at the pilot and bobtail over, or you could simply park at pilot and walk over, maybe a 3 min walk...( which some of these guys out here could use )
a full meal, with a dessert and a drink, ( no alcohol ) will run just under $12 buks. great food!!. its a small place, maybe 15 tabels, and a small parking lot, but they dont care if you bob-tail. i stop in very often!,
your full when you leave!, i highly recomend you get a peic of Sweer Potato Pie!, youll end up buying a whole for yourself!

If you ever saw the kitchen at a Chinese restaurant, you would NOT eat there. Next time you are considering eating Chinese food, go around back and look at the back door. I guarantee you it will be black from filthy hands opening and closing it. And the ground will be even blacker.

K & M Ranch House Rest. Eads, CO just north of Lamar on 287. Small place with really good food. Great salad bar. Home made pasta , potato , pea, and other salads. Pretty waitresses. Good prices. Only problem is they close about 9pm. You can park on side of road or in lot on N side. If you are OD watch for hump on one side of lot. Had to pull a driver off of it. Doesn't look like anything to worry about. They never do.
