does anybody know if the hungry house restuarant on i44 between joplin & springfield mo. ever reopened? that was a real good place to eat at. plenty of truck parking & plenty of food for the money.

And that Del Taco is the first one....and the best. Their food is much better than most of the Del Tacos "down the hill". We stop there almost every time we go to Las Vegas

The Williamsburg one may have enough room for truck parking in the back between it and the Sleep Inn Hotel.

The Newport News one does have enough parking for trucks since I have seen at least three of them there.

The Hampton one does have a big parking lot in the back.

cowboy burger in ontario/fontana, ca is pretty #### good. johnson's corner in loveland, co is worthy of mention. when it comes to cowboy burger, i park around the corner from it. don't attempt to park in there with attached to a trailer. it can be done, but you'll be wishing you hadn't gone in. you might not be able to get out.

eating out of the truck is best when you can. it's a balance of art and science. Sam's has canned chicken that can be added to any soup or broth (Sam's again). Many foods dont require refrigeration as many think...(you'll think I'm crazy but it's a proven fact!!) Mayo, cheese, eggs.....( what did the world do before refrigeration??)(the acid in mayo prevents bacteria growth)

have been dehydrating beef, pork and chicken at home between stop. takes a day. Make your own jerky. that's all it is . darn good too.
