Nick, I drive for McElroy out of Ennis and I love it. Home consistently every Friday unless I wanna be out over the weekend. Leave out Sunday night.
They say we average 60 cpm, but I think I'm doing better than that. $4,000 sign-on bonus paid out over 90 days. Trucks are no more than 3 years old. I ask for a day (or week) off and I get it--they work with me very well. All flatbed loads--lumber, sheetrock, steel studs, sometimes a steel roll or two, cement board. We are the premier carrier for Lowe's, so there's a lot of that, too.
