Brisk walking is all you need. Running is actually bad for your joints even if you’re not old and half crippled like I am now. Lol especially if you can find a good incline to walk up and down. Do your post trip inspection put your walking shoes on and get out and walk for 5 miles a day and eat even just semi healthy and I guarantee you that OTR job just became a heck of a lot easier and you’ll sleep a lot better. I have not been doing this routine myself lately for the past six months or so but I’m gonna get back to it. It made Huge difference in my health overall.
I also dragged along a half size punching bag. Not the full heavy huge one but when I can just stuff at the end of my bunk. And it comes with a collapsible stand. I used to box back in high school and so I set that thing up sometimes and hit the bag for a good 45 minutes or so. There’s all sorts of things you can do while living on a truck if you really want to.ducnut, dave01282000 and Chinatown Thank this. -

In addition to the bike I was thinking dumbbells, kettlebell, bands, and exercise mat. I hadn't thought of a punching bag but that's not a bad idea either.

The Montague bikes look like they get pretty good reviews and have full size wheels. Quite a range in prices but it looks like they have a few that are under a grand.
