Good gloves for chaining

    Not the same scenario, but I wear these hauling gas, and they hold up well. Not sure how they would work slinging iron, but they are warm, and durable for my application. I would suggest insulated pvc gloves…

    Decent, but given what we (okay, "I will...") do, a gauntlet style sound best. Black Diamond has this that seems like a good warm waterproof glove that's durable:

    I've been wanting to try out this new product, Ultra Ever-Dry is the name, but it's rather expensive.
    But Rustoleum makes a less expensive similar product now, sold at Home Depot, called NeverWet (2-part spray cans).
    I recently saw this spray in Home Depot and it looks pretty amazing for use on gloves, boots, your dog,, you name it.
    I think it was about $16 for the 2-can spray kit.
