So you tell me what it cost to operate if my numbers are out of line.the $600 a week payment is $2400 on a 4 week month and $3000 on a 5 week.so 2400 plus fuel at a $1000 a week $4000 a month is .64 a mile for just that on 2500 miles a week not including maintenance, insurance etc..Now stop pay you might not have done this very long but if your making a lot of stop pay that cuts in to the miles you can run.stop pay isn't making much difference and could even bring down your pay..At a 1.13 your clearing .38 a mile top.Now you might think you can operate a truck at .25 a mile your wrong

Listen believe me or not. U ask something and I tell you my experience. The year before i made 195.000 by my self so what are you talking about. If you don't know do ur research. I don't have to prove anything, so believe whatever you want. If you are a truck driver when u out there ask a owner operator for swift they will tell you.
-
I am sorry. I am a ex swift owner and unless you never went home and you averaged 3,000 miles per week, no way 195,000 per year solo. Also I ran walmart and target dedicated so I know what they paid.
-
That's is why you are a exswift driver lol. If I didn't made that kind of money, why I'm paying 3800 hundred dollars for my dot number , ein and llc so I can do my second lease.. My lease is on hold right now because I need those documents.

I was there for 6 years, l/o the whole time, so I am pretty sure that I know what I am talking about, also was a mentor.

You really need to give it up! You're trying to catch me at something, for whatever reason, that no one but you seems to understand. You are the one who is the self proclaimed expert on "running the numbers" WRT a Lease/Purchase. Are you sure you're not the one who is doing one? -
Any lp where your under a company dispatch...you will make just enough to cover your payment..while the company makes $1 per mile to help you out!

So don't lease at a company that pays $1.20 a mile. There are companies where $2.00+ per mile for a lease driver are common.

I started out as a newbie at Swift in 2005 and my trainer was grossing over 220k a year as a lease operator. He showed me his settlement on the qualcomm taking $2200 to $2800 home weekly. Had a chance to meet other owner operators on similar dedicated run who made similar pay. He had a dedicated account and got paid with both our miles. So if you are willing to train, there might be some chance of making money as a lease purchase.
