I use to be lease operator for swift transportation and I made last year two hundred and twenty thousand, they cancelled my lease because I moved to NY and they wanted me to get my own Dot number and company name and I said no. So they let me go. If you want a good lease program swift have a good one.

If you run 2700 miles a week @ $1.12 CPM, that = $3,024.00 Gross - $1,000.00 for fuel @ $2.50 a gallon for a truck that gets 6.5 MPG. That leaves you with $2,024.00 - $600.00 for Lease Payment = $1,424.00. Out of the $1,424.00 you will need to pay for your maintenance and repairs, tolls and running expenses, plus tags, insurance, Highway user tax and other fixed expenses. From a strictly business vantage point, where is your return on investment. Where is your profit margin? Where is the reward for all the risk you're taking? Am i missing something?

Much also depends on who you are leased on with. Many companies today pay for much of what you listed.
