@Plat, my DM is Joni. She has been awesome so far. I have had as many as four dispatches on me at once. 95% of my runs I have my next preplan right after I send my loaded call. I am running western 11 and she is keeping me hopping. I don't think I could ask for a better DM. I know you've had some issues with yours and I hope they can be worked out.

@monkeysnana, so far yes May is great to work for. No issues to complain about here.

why 11 west? Tats alot I get good preplan myself with me dm. I had a different dm for 3 months now and I have not had any issues. I think previously was just a breakdown in communication.

I like the 11 because I get to see my wife more often. She comes down to see me when I have a stop in Brooks or if I'm staying at a locale TS for the night. I might go 48 in the future, but for now 11 is good.

Glad to see you're doing so good, Dozzer, I'm doing the 11 West as well, but it seems like 2.5 West. OR, WA, and Northern CA. I got off 48 because I was stuck in Eastern Time Zone for a month. Said if you're gonna run me North/South do it somewhere I know. Now i'm stuck in the Northwest.

Yeah I like the west. I trained in 48 and just wasn't that fun that time around.

Well, I'm thinking about going back unless I get to go to other states lol. If they can keep at about 450 to 500 miles a day, i'll do good, but I'm not quite getting that.

450 to 500 miles a day on the 11 western at May Trucking? Me thinks not ;-) Not when logistics dispatches 300 to 500 mile runs and gives you two days to run it.

I have had 5-6 dry W11 loads before, all were minimum 600 miles...and next day deliveries

Do you guys still run loads over to Toledo, OR. Man, what a crappy run that was. Does the Qualcomm starting beeping with that warning not to take HWY 20 when you get over there? I got stuck over one night and that Qualcomm beeped every 10 minutes. I finally hung the thing out the window and rolled it up.

Everything is all roses for justawheelholder at May. You must have some unreal connections there ;-)

I happened to have trained many drivers at May who ended up on the 11 western. Every single one of them would call me complaining they weren't getting adequate miles.

Btw, every one of them have quit in the past 18 mos.
