As if they couldnt make that one more screwy.


Queen creek, deliverd 60footers to vegas, came back mt. Got more 60footers and im im go to take em home and deliver monday.

 

Sent a Mac 10 to.planners saying I need to get a load south. Replied saying they are 40 loads short today.
Hour later they are deadheading me down to jurupa terminal.

 

West Memphis, AR at the Petro, headed to Laredo, TX.

As I was going in to get my clothes out of the dryer a guy came up to me asking if I drove a Cascadia.
Yup, I do.
No keys, he said. Can you try yours?
Sure, and it was a no-go.
His team mate was at the drivers door trying to wedge something between the window and frame.
Two guys got out of the truck and locked the doors, and neither had a key with them.
Classic stupid.

 

That why i carry a spare key in my wallet.

 

Jurupa terminal.
Place is packed. No parking even for bobtails.
Trucks gotta go on shop anyways, so.i am parked in the prequall lane for the nite. Shop is closed when I got here.
Where I dropped my empty is almost full of swift trailers that are loaded with Wal-Mart's stuff.
Off for the next 3 days.
Ride down 395 was nice. Was in no hurry today lol

I delivered at around 1400 today. The pplan I was sent picked up at the terminal and delivered here in town by 1500. I guess they figured 15 minutes for the drop, 10 minutes back to the terminal, 20 minutes to pick it up, 10 minutes to the final because everything was 9 miles between each other.
The load is already 2 days late. The delivery was for by 1500 on the 12th.
The mentality of some planners never ceases to amaze me.

I said delivery at 1630, because of all the traffic. That didn't work, so I am waiting for my next load.
Which will probably hit the QC at 0500 with a 0600 pick up, and me at the TA and bobtail.


At least the shop was open so I could get the relay I needed to fix my trailer right turn signal.
I have been without the right turn signal for 3 days. No truck stop had the part and the Lancaster terminal shop was closed when I got there yesterday.
It's not easy getting by without a right turn signal.
I also picked up a spare relay, as should everyone.

 

Phoenix AZ, Terminal. Deliverd my rebar in vegas, got my least favorite load (scrap) back to Queen Creek. Built the scrap kit, waited in line, couldn't make it to queen creek after that nonsense. Off to Benica CA with rebar after i i deliv this in the AM.

Pick up load tomorrow at 1400 in been on ca that delivers anytime b4 2359 on Friday in Albany or.

 

Banning CA. Got the greenlight for the scale. Then blew a trailer tire while passing it. Will be out of hrs at this rate. Probably useless to PC to the rest area down the road.

Got 60foot rebar on back. Will be fueling in the Jurupa valley terminal in the AM.

 

If you're west bound there is no rest area between you and JV.
