Was in traffic all day today it seems.
Drove here for the njte and felt like eating at black bear diner

 

Did my ten last nite at my fuel stop at the Petro in Milan nm.
Still feeling like crap. Hardly any sleep last nite so got up at 230 am and fuel at 3am
Tcalled the load here at the Albuquerque terminal and snapped the red line off while attaching it to the truck to store in place. Hate these plastic crap. Second time I did this in the last few months

 

Can't you get them to put a nice set of rubber lines on there?

It turned into a very nice day today.
I was headed just north of Chicago for my delivery today but there still wasn't a delivery appointment. I had called my DM this morning about it and he messaged CSR.
Still no word when I was 100 miles from the final so I called him back.
He had set up a t-call in Gary. Cool; saved me the trouble of Chicago traffic.

My next load picked up at the Manteno terminal, a Walmart load going to SD.
He noticed it and redid the t-call for Manteno, so I didn't even have the hassle of going in to Gary. Cool, again.
When I called him I was only 40 miles from Manteno.

Even having to search 2 deep in rows of trailers for mine and move a trailer to get access, I was still out of there by 1400, which is the time I would have gotten to my final.
I won't lose too many miles from that load, and it saved me almost 3 hours of drive time.

 

They did. Truck also needed an a service which I was waiting for the b service so I can get it done together.
They did it and foundd a few things wrong.
Was done by 1200. Got a lkad picking up 6 miles away going to Richmond ca.
Gonna do a 34 reset on Sunday in lathrop terminal so I can watch the last NASCAR race. Get a motel room for 2 nites

 

I've been getting A-Service messages daily for about 2 months.
I was all set to get into Edwardsville to get it done when I was told that the A-Service has been suspended, so no need to get it done. So I took the next load, and the next and the next. I still get the messages daily.

Cutting down the shop hours and shop people does not bode well with increased service intervals I guess.
What was Knight thinking, I wonder.

I'm still trying to figure out how gutting the Inver Grove terminal helps any of us.

 

Wythville VA Flying J. Deliver load in Cleveland NC in the morning and head to Greer SC to see if they can fix the bloody qualcomm. Turned down a load of freightliner chassis on the way down, cause someone didnt see the 2357 which was supposed to mean "dont plan me" Phoenix straightened that out since it was Greer that tried to plan me. Cause in any case ill need a 34 bare minnimum when i get to greer anyway.
