Good Night From II

Banning scales.
Got to shipper at 1030 and took a hour to get a door. Left around 1200.
Stopped at the t/a in Coachella ca for a much needed shower. Shkuld have stayed there.
Traffic was horrendous few miles west of there.
Was planning on staying by the final for my 10 but would have been late.
Have to be in Chatsworth at 7 am and will leave here at 430 am. Gonna still be close. Gonna do a Mac 22 before I leave an add a few hours just in case.
Walked into scalehouse to make sure it was ok to stay here

 

The 22 should have been sent before you went to sleep, don't you think?

 

Pretty sure I can still make it. Just did it just in case.

 

Chatsworth ca.
Got here 7 minutes after appt.
Receiver says no appt on this load.
Has a 1800 time available.
Called another dl since mine had a day off. She messaged csr.
So wait and see now.

 

Perris ca.
Waited about an hour and guy came back from his break and gave me a door. Unloaded me pretty quick. Neve heard from csr.
Went and parked by the 118 freeway and got a load that picks up here and tcalling in pheonix terminal.
Won't make it there tonite don't think.
Then grab a load in tolleson tomorrow and have a live unload in San Fernando ca st 11oo on the 4th.
Next couple weeks gonna be slow.
Have a doc appt on Friday with the 2nd surgeon and surgery set for the following Tuesday.
Have a mole like thingy below my left eye that was diagnosed as skin cancer.
1st doctor will take it off doing just a local numbing and 2nd doctor will close the hole. He is putting me to sleep since they won't know if they will have to do a graph or not
Took 2 months to get the appt

 

Oh btw... to that swift day cab with a flatbed going west on the 210.if you gonna run 55 or less stay in the f'n rite lane.
Dude kept pace with a truck that was in right lane and took forever to get by.
Finally got done with his b.s. and hopped in the fast lane to get by hoping for no trooper near me.
Alot of 4 wheelers were passing me on the right and cutting me off causing me to slow down to 45 at times.
When I got by him/her I went to right and few miles down the road i see him trying to pass me. Not going to happen .
Thinking maybe it was trying to get my truck number but I can care less.

 

Oh and i bet i know who it was.

Not sure of course, but i have my guess.

Troutdale, they finally got tired of paying me layover, so i went down to Troutdale to get an empty skateboard. Getting lumber tomorrow in Carson WA, then deliver in Reno and pick up some supersacks going to port port of Houston. Not bad a bad stack to get me moving again. (Probably head to Laredo after.)

 

I had a drive cam report, a face to face for following too closely.

I-80 near the IN/IL border, you know, Gary.
I was in the second lane (from the right) and another truck in the third which came in front of me going 45 in a 55 - while everyone around us is doing 60. I was doing 58.
He was backing everyone up.
I slow down and look for a window to get around him, which didn't come.

The drive cam shows me getting off the throttle and slowing as he slowed, because he got down to 40 while I was behind him.

The report is 1.5 seconds distance for about 4 seconds.
And the wrong 4 seconds were reported at that distance, I think.
At -8 to -4 seconds in the video I am pretty sure I was at more than 1.5 seconds. It was a few seconds later that I got closer, because this idiot just kept getting slower.

The guy had his right turn signal on, and people were slowing to let him get into the right lane. But he stayed in my lane as he continued to slow down. He finally went to the right lane.

This was a O/O truck pulling an Amazon Prime trailer, and I had passed him a few times today.
He wasn't going that slow the other times, but he was really taking his time.
And why he would be going SO slow on that part of highway I have no idea. It was like he wanted to create a hazard.

 

You need to slow down and stop rushing to insure this doesn’t happen again in the future.

 

Somewhere in Norcal?.... Idk. Nor am i in a caring mood right now.

Got my lumber, do a deliver and pick in the morning in Reno. Depending on how the road report looks. Gonna take 395 in if its in better shape. We shall see then.
