Clearwater, MN.
Coming off home time I was given 2 loads, both to St. Cloud and both to pick up empty trailers.
The first one I took to IGH and I kept the second.
Electrolux is no longer a customer so all the trailers had to be removed. Actually, it looked like the place is closing down. There was nothing but a few plain white trailers in a few of the docks and around the yard, but no other trucks.
I took out the last 2 trailers.
Everything worked out well for Leann today.
She had her doctor visit and got meds to last her for the trip.
Her first flight to Chicago should be departing as I'm writing this. Then it is on to Germany and then Italy.

Lincoln, NE at Shoemakers.
A driver from our terminal had a rollover accident yesterday.
It was a team, and they were both injured. I don't know to what extent.
They had both just come off a 3 day home time and the driver fell asleep just a few hours in.FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
Dillon CO. Scenic area, headed to Otay.
Snow coming down lightly. 20degree ish. Eisenhower was ok but idk how much is gonna build up there. Loveland pass is chain laws in effect. Guys on the CB said Vail was getting nasty. And the map says traffic is slow over it but no chain laws yet. Think ill stay put and wait for daylight to try to tackle whatever waits for me. -
And chain laws are up on vail. Called it.

Getting all the excitement.
Cant imagine a parade of trucks headed down NV164 its bad enough when im the only one. Now why did i immeditly know that road number? What conciveable reason would i possibly know that road exists for.
Admittedly i dont like scales, but i park at railroad pass these days, rather take a detour through the desert than go back through vegas.dptrucker Thanks this. -
that road wasn't too bad. most of trucks seemed to stay put on side of freeway waiting. better than sitting lolFerrissWheel Thanks this.

Rawlins, WY.
I'm glad I got this far west today. Tomorrow is a high wind day around Laramie.
It should be clear sailing, at least until the Salt Lake area.
I got called about 2 drivecam incidents today for following too closely.
The first I was going 15mph behind a car as we got started at the green light, and the car was pulling away from me from the first frame.
The second a car pulled in front of me on the freeway in fairly heavy traffic. I let off the throttle and coasted down a few mph until I had more room. I didn't feel like hitting the brakes with cars already following me too close.
Both times I was 'too close' for not more than 4 seconds, but with the new settings it is enough to set off the alarm.FerrissWheel and dptrucker Thank this.
