That is the section where tandems need to be all the way forward.

In any case, i do not envy traversing that this time of year. * Gets out spectacles, reads closer. *

    Should have figured you would.

Following the forecast for I70 closely. Ill be headed over it tommorow night. If predictions get worse ill try to reroute via i40.

Actually, there is a pen mark on the map Swift gave me saying to have the tandems all the way forward in that section.
And when I drove it that one time, all the trailers seemed to be 53 footers.
There were a LOT of them, and most of them too much in a hurry - as usual.

It is an option, but one I do not like to use.

From Lewiston it seems a no-brainer to go around the long way to Ontario, OR.
It is around 100 miles more but only takes about 15 minutes longer with clear roads and traffic, and it is much safer. And is US 95 ever clear of traffic?

I stuck with my fuel route, going over I-90.

One of my DM's wanted me to take us 95, but there was ice accumulating on some of the passes last night and I wasn't going to chance it.
It adds about 200 miles to my trip, but I should still make it there on time if nothing else slows me down.

Missoula, MT tonight at the Pilot. Tomorrow I'm planning on the Hat Six in Casper, WY.

Last i heard was 1/2 inch on vail. But last night it was snowing nicely but not badly on the 70 in UT... I know cause i came that way. Was getting icy, but not drastically so. We are switching over right now in Green river. If you see a blue Swift Flatbed with some weird metal boxes full of more metal crap that B us.
