How not fun is guaranteed miles.
That usually means running the same thing over and over again, back and forth along the same roads.
How boring.

Yup.
And they were none too happy when I showed up with no appointment time. My load assignment gave me a window.
As I was being loaded the CSR messaged me to inquire if I was being loaded.
I told her that I was, but they were not happy.
And I was told by the shipper this happens all too often and that Swift was supposed to set up a time.
I got lucky and they let me in, and I was only third in line. 30 minutes later it was seven in the line.
And I got the lucky spot of backing in to the hole.
That took me about 15 minutes to back into, getting out to look at least 6 times. Blind side with only about 1 foot of clearance on either side.
The driver in front of me waited for the next truck to pull out so he wouldn't have to back in there.JOHNQPUBLIC and FerrissWheel Thank this.
