at our dropyard in Las Vegas nv.
went and parked at the shop in jurupa terminal at 0545 this morning so I could be 1st.
took him just over an hour to get mudflaps and it's frame fixed.
drop that trailer here and got the other one
doing my 30.min break now then back to jurupa terminal.
load doesn't deliver till Tuesday morning

My PTA from home time was set for 1000 Saturday, and the load I got out was for Monday.
I guess things are a bit slow in MN.
But I did get $150 layover pay, without asking and thanks to my FM.
They are very good at taking care of me.

I got down to Indiana and then back to Wisconsin, and now I'm headed to Idaho.
The loads are coming in, but the miles are rather low with too much time on them.

That is just commenting, not complaining.
I like still being able to do my job and make my own money, unlike so many that are out of work right now.

drove about 2 miles to shipper and grabbed thisoad that I am taking to beaver ut.
the original driver is back from his heart attack.
came here for the.nite cause I needed to do laundry

Last week on Lowes Dedicated. It took them 5 weeks but they finally hired my replacement.

Back to be OTR officially next Monday.

Its been a fairly stress free steady diversion.

Freight is allegedly picking up in our OTR fleet, so who the heck knows. We shall find out what craterous crap awaits. But since i got screwed out of proper home time to cover this account. Im getting a week off and keeping the truck so yay.

Delivering in show low AZ Saturday and coming back to Phoenix to hook up with some friends.

 

other driver got to beaver and I still had 3.5 hrs left in 11.
so drove here to flying j in mesquite nv.

I was sent a load picking up in SD going to Kentucky, but it t-called in East St. Louis, IL.
I called the planner to ask about the t-call.
He said it was because it would put me out of GLR, and some DM's don't like it when their drivers go outside the region.
He removed the t-call at my request, and my DM is fine with that. I'll bounce right back up there in no time.

It's nice to have a longer trip and to be off the beaten path.

I had one from the shipper the other driver got in Denver.
so went and got one and got it Tcalled.
gonna walk in tomorrow and talk to terminal leader about not being consistent with all terminals.
the other load I picked up in fontana ca that I gave the other driver I kinda messed up on.
picked it up and went to fontana a yard for my 10 since not enough hours to go 200 miles.
dis my pretrip beforeI left shipper. was not good enough.
during my next morning pretrip saw a gash on side of trailer about 6 inches to a foot long. don't know how I missed it I just did.
called claims and let them know and they transferred my to onroad to let me know where to go.
fontana shop opened at 7am and jurupa opened at 6am.
so went to jurupa and they just put that metal type tape to temporary fix it.
so just wasted an hour luckily.
still beat the other driver to beaver by a minute lol

went and got my drivers license renewed today.
was suppose to do the knowledge test but ca DMV is waiving it for commercial drivers.
so did the vision test, fingerprint and pic
should get it in mail in a few weeks
