FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
Gotta love ECT planners.
The 'next load assignment' picks up today and delivers tomorrow - when my current load picks up tomorrow and delivers the next day.
I am in Nebraska to pick up, with a delivery in MO.
That pplan picks up in MO.
When I turned it down I made a comment of being either drunk or high to send something like that.FerrissWheel and dwells40 Thank this. -
Its mostly due to the Lowes account out of Beaumont.
Every direction returns empty. Whether 15,5 or 10
We have massivly expanded freight out of there.
Even though im officially back on OTR fleet, they are now using me to cover more of them.
The OTR planner and lowes dedicated planner are literally racing each other to plan drivers before the other can get them.
They sent me from Phoenix to Vegas for like 1 lift of lumber to take to Palmdale. Just to bounce back to Beaumont for a load to Paso Robles.
All Lowes.
There were like 20 of our flatbed trucks parked at the DC last night (we can park in the DC.)dptrucker Thanks this. -
They even sent one of thier salaried PHX local drivers on the same stuff. One of the guys with all the permits like I used to have. Up to vegas, down to Ventura and over to Beaumont then back to Phoenix. Granted we arent moving any precast atm.

If theyd quit promoting our ECT coverage we might have some lulz. But that is some special planning there.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
And my load out of here was canceled by the shipper, so I sit for another day.
Freight is picking up I hear. That is good news.
After a couple hours I called my DM and she found me a nice load going to OH.
Doesn't pick until tomorrow morning, so I will get a couple days layover pay out of it - and a 34, so full hours back.FerrissWheel and dptrucker Thank this. -
Petro in n Las Vegas nv.
other driver got to beaver ut 15 minutes after I did
still had just over 4 hrs left on driveline.
so was go .a stop at flying j in misquote nv but saw I still had hrs left to get here and still be daylight lol.
he normally get to beaver early on Saturdays so he can get home early on Sunday. he lives in Colorado springs.
tcallimg this load to jurupa terminal since it delivers on Monday and final is closed sundayFerrissWheel Thanks this. -
Probably more closed on Monday, since that is the real holiday.
I'm picking up Sunday (or Monday, it is pre-loaded) with a Tuesday delivery of 0500 in MI.
A whole 111 loaded miles with 11 empty miles.
And the empty trailer I got from Home Depot here in Van Buren, OH has a bad air leak.
I'm pretty sure the last driver knew about it and just pawned it off on the next driver. It is very hard to miss.
I was 3 miles from the Petro so I came here for the night. I'll get it fixed in the morning, even though I guess I could ignore it and pawn it off on the next poor sap.
But that would be rude.
I've heard freight is picking up, but I haven't seen it yet. Crap loads, and it will be a bad week.
And I think this load is punishment for the last one I turned down. I'm not fond of Columbus planners, to say the least.
But it might get me to a different planning area, or at least past the weekend when my DM can plan something for me.FerrissWheel and dptrucker Thank this.
