    Pretty much.

I folded the mirrors a time or two. Had my student watch my right as I ideled forward and watched my left.

Kept my left side only an inch or two away from everything. Physically stuck my upperbody out the window while the mirror was folded.

The mirror was gonna catch on like a bus or truck mirror or something.

But yeah, we nearly had to get out the 5th wheel grease cause spare room there wasnt much.

That was a ridiculous street there in the Bronx. I used to drive all that area and Manhattan as a meat hauler with a 53 ft reefer, curbside delivery and all. I’ve been on a few streets like that myself, good times.

Usually I would deliver up in Maine or Jersey areas everywhere and have a few boxes with wrong cuts of meat and only place who would buy it in time was little meat stores up and down Manhattan or Hunts Point. Hunts point was easy mode with its truck parking slots, Dunkin’ Donuts, and food delivery all day long back in the 90s early 2000s. If going to Manhattan I’d park many of times curbside on Amsterdam and get my eat on.

Ive done several over the last few years. Queens, maspeth and broklyn were tame by comparison. Manhattan can be nearly reasonable, just go down Broadway and get to the area, just know which way your going.

But that particular bit of the Bronx is just ughh.

On the plus side I had a 48 this time, usually id have a 53. But on the other hand the truck is 4-5ft longer so oh well. I just know i got a hood length on everyone when i happen to back up to a dock lol.

In many ways there are parts of NYC id rather be in over parts of Chicago.

I went to Menasha for a b service and I ended up being put in a different truck.

My Cascadia needs to go to the dealer for an alignment and I would not get it back until Tuesday.
So I was offered the choice of a loaner truck or to take one of them permanently.
I hate doing the loaner thing because I never know how long I'll be stuck in it, plus most of my stuff would still be in the other truck.
And my truck, being a '17, would be up for retirement very soon anyway.

I am now in a blue '20 ProStar, which I'm not that crazy about.
My last ProStar was a real lemon, but I'll give this one a chance.

Everything is in the wrong place, so nothing fits right anymore. And I had to leave my cooler at the terminal because it would not fit in the narrower interior. I left a note on it so someone can grab it if they want.
It does have a built in fridge, but it is much smaller than my cooler. Nothing fits right in there either.
The top bunk is fixed, so no raising it. But I had nowhere to put several things so it is being used for those items.

It wasn't the day I was expecting to have.
