Back on the road and in PHX, was doing lowes out of Beaumont. Got a new license with updated info, waiting for the new hardcopy. Will go back then. Right now got a load of steel tube i picked up in LA.

Deliver tomorrow morning and get another student.

So are we back to doing those A services?
What a pain to schedule a minor service between the B service.

I also got a message today about a damage report service.

They can plan me into a terminal to get the services done, or I will drive until they have no choice.
But I am not going to try to direct myself by turning down loads to get these things done.
It should not be a fight between drivers and planners and the shop when these things are due.

 

a service you can wait for your b service or bit service to get done. on a service they won't put you on safety hold as they would b service.
that damage report thing is the same I think.

 

I just hope they don't find anything or needs a recall item. that's when the waiting game begins lol.
takes about 4 to 5 hrs for a b and a service.
if it takes more than a day to fix something I get into another truck.
dl wants to give me a loaner but I am not leaving my stuff unattended for a few days

 

for driver appreciation week this week,, jurupa terminal not doing their normal BBQing.
a guy has a trailer that he sets up here for breakfast and lunch. he closes around 1400 normally.
guess this week he is doing something different each day for food.
not sure what lol.

 

truck had a leak im the fuel pump and air compressor. be untill thirsday b4 its ready.
so got into an 17 freightliner. 536978 miles.
looks to be an lease truck due to.no.logo on driver door.
no shelves in the cabinets so have to throw everything in a cluster. reason why hate these pos

 

In Phoenix they are giving away food drinks, gloves and a neck gaiter.

I hard a hard braking event this morning.
I was on my way to pick up a P&G load and had just moved to the turn lane.
It's a 4 lane road with the turn lane, and there was a guy riding a lawn mower in the far lane of the other side - going the wrong way so his back was too me.
As a truck was pulling out of P&G this guy cut over right in front of my truck, without a glance towards me.
I slam on the brakes and hit the air horn, coming up shy by about 20 feet of mowing him into the pavement.

Fun times...

picked up load in perris ca and was heading to beaver ut when other driver said he was putting his truck back Into shop.
so dl had me tcall it to the dropyard in n Las Vegas nv. that place is getting worse every time I go there. it's an estes terminal who give swift space to drop.
rumor is swift is building a terminal in Las Vegas but haven't heard anything concrete yet.
so picked up a load down the street from dropyard and drove here last nite.
have a 1745 live unload in Irvine ca.
head back here after and pick up a load in the morning next door.
haven't heard if other drive got his truck fixed
