dptrucker and Moosetek13 Thank this.

looks like other driver ran over a sharp object.
was on driverside rear axle inner tire. and slice was between tires on sidewall.
load was 43000 lbs.
so I called it a devil trailer since last 3 numbers were 666 lolMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
Hotels don't have a 13th floor.
Trailers should not have 666 in the number.
Although, I have always considered 13 to be my lucky number.dptrucker Thanks this. -
Crawfordsville,IN with a broken truck.
This morning it just stopped running and won't start again. My first thought is the fuel pump.
A repair truck is on the way so we'll see what happens.
Edit:
Turned out to be a loose fuel filter. It was sucking air.
Quick fix, but it cost me 3 hours.
Not that it mattered that much. My load had plenty of time.
And being later meant that I could wait until morning to pick up my next load in Johnson City, TN. Parking would be impossible around there that late.
Nice load. I'll be headed to the Lowe's DC in Rockford, IL.Last edited: Oct 2, 2020

Tcalled the load here b4 taking truck to shop of course lol.
have to do 2 days of paper logs ugvggv -
They replaced the qualcom unit, but my logs had not been transmitted and I didn't have a paper copy.
After the change it showed me on the drive line for 74 hours straight. I had to take a 34 at the Lathrop terminal before I could drive again.
And the 'new' unit had the same problems after a few minutes of operation, but they failed to test anything before giving it back to me.
It wasn't the black box, it was the cable between the antenna and black box that was faulty.
And that was something they didn't even think of, even after the second unit was messing up.
I had to tell them to replace it, and then the problem was fixed. (For the most part. The qualcoms in that truck always were a problem.)
The shops, for the most part, don't seem to have people that can actually troubleshoot a problem. They just act like robots and follow a script that doesn't have all the right steps to begin with.dptrucker Thanks this. -
they replaced the antenna and replace a bent screw on one of the plugs.
works now lol.Wasted Thyme Thanks this. -
Don't get me started on the POS they installed in my Kenworth!Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Well I haven't had a single qualcom problem since I moved into the International.
The truck has a few quirks, but the qualcom works perfectly - so far.
