Those trailers might be dedicated to Costco. Roll up doors so you can make after hour drops, when no one is at the stores. We did that with JCP. We had roll up doors and dropped them in the door at night, grabbed the other empty. Left the bills in the box and keep a copy for ourselves.

 

I have never had a Costco load like that.

I got here at about 1100 for fuel and had a 1200 delivery in Eden Prairie at Costco.
It was already snowing in Eden Prairie and the radar showed it would be getting heavier very soon, so I shut down here.
Around 7 inches is forecast.

Pretty glad I did. Crashes all over the metro area, spun out vehicles, jackknifed semi's.

 

Currently on the way from Otay to NC with 5 stops in between.

Picked up a promaster in Gary last week that was brought from Laredo by a driver that didn't check his paperwork. Took it to Antioch Cali. Got lumber down to socal, coils to Phoenix, delivered those Monday. Bounced to Beaumont CA to get a lowes load to vegas, returned to Beaumont, went down to Otay got lift gates,,,, so now im somewhere in NM.


Really getting annoyed i don't get updates on this forum section anymore. Ive got it marked watch.

saw that 15n was closed just south of Barstow ca due to chp chasing a guy and ended up in a shooting. don't have any details yet.
so ended up got 15 n to d street exit and got on 395 to 58 to 15 to get around. about 41 mile detour.
think it's still closed

 

Morris, IL at the TA.

Once again I was deadheaded from Owatonna, MN to Morris to grab another Costco load going to Minneapolis. And once again my next load is taking my mt to Owatonna to drop there.
Populating a new DC that is taking over much of what Morris covers, and a bit more.
And every trailer I have been picking up has been roll doors. Most in Owatonna are too. Guess that is all they want.

I was able to bobtail in to Morris, as was the driver in front of me. They were like, ya, go for it.
That was strange, but nice.

It's providing decent miles, but is is getting a bit boring.

 

Wanna try boring? Phoenix to SoCal and return 5 days a week. 2800-3200 miles a week.

 

Giving me flash backs of running Beaumont to Tonopah 5 days a week for 3 months.

Vegas to Fontana for 2 years admittedly was a more interesting drive, but also the most rage inducing.

Wickenberg to Vegas for two months,,, I actually rather like.

 

The boring is over for now.
My next load picks up at my terminal in Menasha and is headed to MI with a Walmart blitz trailer.
Blitz time is here, such fun.
