Too late, already delivered. And it is all the way forward already.
    Thanks, though.

I got to Costco at 0845, and they told me that I had an appointment for 0600 for a live unload.
I said no, it's a drop. They said no, and Swift is always making this mistake.
I went in and parked to call my DM.
Back and forth with CSR as they would tell me to try again because it is a drop, and the people would turn me away again.
After nearly 2.5 hours they finally got a message from the receiving manager that my load was supposed to drop.

I bobtailed out to do some shopping while waiting for a load assignment. I figured if it was Costco I would not need an mt, if it wasn't I would go back and snag one.
It is a Westrock paper load so I went and got an mt, waited nearly half an hour in the exit line, only to be told they do not give out mt's and to put it back.

Got back on with my DM, who messaged a planner, who let me bobtail to my next load.
Westrock wasn't happy about me not having an mt, but they gave me the load.
    Now headed to Joplin, MO.

And, I forgot to take my enforcer lock off at Costco.
A little unintentional payback for what they put me through today I guess.

drove back here for the other load I was suppose to take to beaver ut.
but other driver didn't want to put chains on over the.mtns on i70 in Colorado.
we both wouldn't have made it ro.lupron today. but I was ok getting there tomorrow. but he didn't like the idea
so he decided he wasn't going to come down.
so ended up tcalling load at dropyard in Vegas.
picked up another load there that delivers tomorrow at 1000 3 miles away
    live unload
lost 400 miles on this trip
he lost 1000, but that was his choice for not coming.

Maybe he decided it was better to lose 1000 miles than getting into a crash that would have lost much more?

    dptrucker and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.

    I would love a 2k Westrock load.
That last load was 33,340 on the drives with a quarter tank of fuel, tandems all the way forward.
Glad I didn't fill up before I got there.

I have a Kimberly Clark load out of Jenks, OK heading to IN now. A nice 20k load.
And I am SO glad not to be headed back to that Costco.

That is a nice place to pick up from. One of the easiest anywhere.
