The part for my truck finally came in this afternoon so hopefully I will get out of here tomorrow.

 

perris ca. at an am/pm that has truck parking.
grabbed a load out of jurupa terminal and did a live unload in San Bernardino.
then went back to terminal for another load that I Tcalled in n Las Vegas.
grabbed an mt and drove here to perris ca for this load..
tcalling this one in n Las vegas.too.

 

Inver Grove Heights, MN at the Pilot.

I delivered a load to Mopar in New Hope late this morning.
That was fun.
Drop it on the north side of the building he says.
I go around and find the trailers are at an angle facing me, with no turn around room. So I had to back up and angle around so I could back in to the drop area.
Luckily there was room right at the front, because I don't know how people actually blind side back into a spot there. Not even enough room to pull a trailer out without jumping the curb and going into the grass.
There were plenty of trailers with gouges along the side there.

No empty that I could find so I came here because it is next to our drop yard.
That was at around noon today. No load out of here yet, and it is bed time.

Denver had a take it driver for this trip.
so i picked up the load here yesterday and got to beaver ut around 1400.
did my 30 minute break then went to misquite for the nite.
got here around 1300 and Tcalled it
have another load here for me.but not sure if I go to beaver ut or drop it at dropyard in Las vegas. find put in the morning when.my.dl gets to work

 

Clear Lake, IA at the Pilot.
Snow and blowing snow with high winds. I shut down a bit earlier.

I really need to get my DOT physical because my card expires January 2.
It is set up for a clinic in Kansas City, MO - once I can get there.

I was all set up to do it tomorrow and then it fell through because, and then it looked good again, because - until this storm comes through.
They close at 1500 tomorrow and I will not make it, because that is the time I can (probably) deliver this load.
My next chance is Monday if I can arrange the loads properly over the weekend to get me back there.

Such a pain to arrange this during the holidays.

driver Denver had set up to meet me in beaver ut got caught up in the wind storm somewhere in Kansas.
so I did only one round trip from here to Las vegas and back.
have tomorrow off.

Well I had a nice Christmas day.

I had 3 loads to pick up at BMS in St. Joseph, MO.
The first two t-called at Edwardsville, the third is a 2 stopper that I deliver tomorrow.
I was told to bobtail to all three.
The trailers were number one, two and three at the end of the row, and closest to the mailbox with the BOL's.

When I got here to the Love's in Ottawa the space nearest to the store was empty, so I grabbed it.
A nice shower topped of the day.

 

My med card expires January 2, so I am in dire need of getting it renewed.
I have been trying to get somewhere to do it, and it has been set up for a clinic in Kansas City.
December 24 was what I was shooting for but the weather messed that up.
So my DM put a home time request in the system to keep me in that area.
She made it for the 28th, but the 27th would have been better as they kept sending me pplans today trying to get me to deliver stuff on the 28th. That would have made it impossible to get the physical on Monday.

So I just took the 'home time' a bit earlier, and started it when I t-called this load at Edwardsville today.
I'll be sitting it out on the 27th so I can make sure I get in to the clinic on Monday.

I'll be submitting the forms to the MN DMV online, but I'll try to get a load to MN asap so I can submit them in person by the 2nd. It can take up to 10 days to process doing it online, hence the need for speed.

It was so much easier when we had an actual terminal at Inver Grove. I would simply do it on a regular home time.
